Call for Papers
The 1st International Congress on Social & Legal Studies (SLS 2018) organized by E-Journal of Social and Legal Studies will be held on October 5-7, 2018 in Samsun, Turkey.
The theme of the congress will be “Multidisciplinary Approach in Social and Legal Studies”.
The Congress bringing academics from about 10 different countries aims to contribute to the production of proposals by addressing contemporary issues and debates existing in social sciences and law. The congress is open to papers concerning all fields of social sciences. Papers written in public and private law are also welcomed by the congress. Plus these, contributions from the intersection set of social science and law are allowed to be discussed in the congress as well.
In this regard, the congress welcoming papers from all branches of social sciences and law, and the intersection set of these fields may include the following headings, but the scope is not limited to these headings:
The environment, human rights, immigration, child labour, armed conflicts, conflicts resolution, national and international mediation initiatives, economy, economic regulations, tax, labor relations, protection of art and artists, copyright, civil society and NGOs, non-profit organisations and their legal statutes, marginal groups in society and their rights, women and women’s rights, public/private sphere, e-state/m-state/ internet, internet regulations, social media usage, media and freedom of expression, media prohibitions and legitimacy, protection of personal data, right to education, compulsory education applications, right of choice in education, religious education, government systems and religion, secularism, electoral systems, political parties and etc.
Papers submitted to the congress can be realised as verbal presentation, poster presentation and virtual presentation.
Call for Exhibitions
The first international exhibition titled as “New Approaches in Art and Design” aims to combine the harmony of the art and design by the involvement of artists, designers and academics. The exhibition designed in a platform where thoughts and ideas can be shared is open to all fields of visual arts.
